Celebratory Reading of the Declaration of Independence

Come to watch or participate in the words that gave birth to a new country founded on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.....A Community reading of the Declaration of Independence on the stage underneath the London Bridge on Saturday, July 4 at 8am and 9am (sign up in advance. e-mail address is below);

Veterans will be leading us at 8:00 am since these amazing men and women have led our nation in defending freedom in its "hour of maximum danger" (JFK ’61) throughout the 250 year history of our country.

9:00 am Youth and then general public.

Details include; 5-10 readers per reading (125-250 words each). Sign up in advance only. There will be as many readings as there are people willing to read beginning at 8am honoring our veterans;

Both the YOUNGEST and OLDEST person reading will receive a small token of appreciation.

PS If you are coming to watch, fantastic! You will have a great time and a great memory. The reading will be under the London Bridge, partially shaded, but still warm Please bring your own lawn chair, if needed: There will be the dropping of a large (60 ft x 28 ft) traveling American flag off the London Bridge @ 10:00 am right after this event.
