Flag Retiring Ceremony

Join us at *9am for a Flag Retirement Ceremony.

In accordance with proper flag etiquette, we will respectfully retire worn and weathered U.S. flags.

When flags become worn out and no longer fit to fly, they must be burned or buried.

Veteran's Thrift takes this retirement very seriously, collecting flags flown from the staffs of local businesses and homes and honoring them with a display by the VFW color guard.

This event offers a moment for our community to come together to appreciate the American flag’s meaning and service.
