Lake Havasu City kicks off the holiday season Havasu-style:

After a spirited swim race through the Bridgewater Channel, the winner earns the honor of flipping the switch to illuminate the English Village for the holidays!

This annual holiday lights extravaganza transforms the city into a twinkling winter wonderland.

Bring the family for a stroll under the London Bridge or take your boat on a night cruise through the Bridgewater Channel as over 500,000 lights set the water aglow.

Things to know before you go:

  • Arrive early for the best viewing spots along the channel and around the bridge.
  • Please note that exact race and lighting times will be posted closer to the event.
  • Public parking is available in lots around the English Village and the London Bridge area.
  • Carpooling is encouraged.
  • Dress warm for a crisp desert evening by the water.
