Chalk Cliffs

Overview

Located on the California side of the lake across from Site Six are the Chalk Cliffs.

Geology:
The cliffs are formed from kaolinite, a type of soft rock created by hot springs.

Appearance:
The formations are large, distinct gray/white cliffs that stand out along the shoreline.

Activities:
The Chalk Cliffs are a popular spot for boaters to visit and enjoy the scenery.
