Railroad Canyon Trail
Overview
Railroad Canyon Trail is an alternate route to or from Swansea and requires using other trails to get to the start point and back. Plan on 40-50 miles of riding total. This slightly more challenging option deviates from the main trail to Swansea midway, winding through a narrow canyon before arriving at the ghost town. This trail is mostly easy but does get rougher in the wash along Railroad Canyon. A 4WD vehicle is recommended and high clearance is necessary.

Directions to Trailhead:
Head south about on Highway 95 from Lake Havasu City to Parker. Continue on Highway 95 south of Parker until it intersects with Highway 72. Follow Highway 72 until you reach the town of Bouse. Turn right on Main Street, then left on Rayder Ave. Rayder becomes Swansea Road. The trail begins about halfway along Swansea Road, at the former site of Midway.
