Moss Wash OHV Trail

This narrow, winding single track meanders through scenic Black Mountain forest and Mohave Desert vegetation before dropping into Mossback Wash. The trail travels along a wash, before climbing out and winding over ridges, dropping often to cross through narrow gully washes, eventually passing Mossback Mine. High-clearance 4WDs are recommended, although most high-clearance SUVs are acceptable. Expect a rough road surface, possible mud patches, and potentially deep sand that may require lower tire pressures. Stream crossings up to 12 inches deep also are possible.
