Moss Mine Trail

Moss Mine is a short rutted trail leading to the remains of its namesake, the abandoned Moss Mine. From here, there are a number of unmapped side trails waiting to be explored although those planning to deviate off the main trails should come prepared with a compass and topographic map as it can be easy to get lost. Combine Moss Mine with Mossback Wash and Thumb Butte trails to make it a full-day outing. A high-clearance 4WD vehicle is recommended.
