Backway to Oatman OHV Trail

Overview

This easy route roughly follows the former railroad bed that connected to old mining town of Oatman to the Colorado River. A hiking trail follows the railroad route, while the 4WD trail weaves back and forth across it. Use caution and pay attention to trail markers to ensure you remain on the correct trail. Most high-clearance vehicles can handle this relatively flat road, although 4WD can be needed after heavy rains cause ruts and washouts. This trail can be taken in both directions.
