Pancake the Burro's Birthday

Last March, the Go Lake Havasu Visitor Center launched the children’s book “Pancake A Very Curious Burro in Lake Havasu” - a children’s introduction to the history of the Lake Havasu area as told by a Burro named Pancake and his Abuela. To commemorate the book's success, the Visitor Center will be hosting a party to celebrate Pancake’s first birthday on March 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM until noon at the Visitor Center at 422 English Village, Lake Havasu City, AZ. This free community event will include cupcakes, drinks, games with prizes; including pin the tail, I spy game, face painting, prizes for kids dressed in western attire, and coloring projects. Pancake (played by Marty Waychoff) will be there and his Abuela (played by Marge Snyder) will read the book! The author (Deborah Porter) will also be present to sign books. Please join us for this free, fun event for the whole family.
