New CVB Website!

Where fun is always in season. That’s just one of the images being conveyed
by the Lake Havasu City Convention & Visitors Bureau as they unveil their
new website at www.golakehavasu.com. Work and Play go Hand in Hand. The new site
will help streamline contact with tourism and media professionals by giving the
world a glimpse of what our beautiful city has to offer.
Visitors to the site have instant access to CVB staff through forms to request
Visitor’s Guides, Meeting Planner Packets, and Press Kits. Convention professionals
can submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) online.
On the lighter side, the community and visitors alike can keep up with our Calendar
of Events, local attractions, recreational guides, and much more.
“This is a great website,” said CVB President Dan Cunning. “This
website is attractive to the eye, easy to navigate and contains a wealth of information.”
“
We wanted to keep the site simple yet aesthetically pleasing. We didn’t
want any fancy flash pages or anything like that. We wanted it to be easy for
users to check out the page and get the information they need,” Cunning
said. “Frontline Graphics did an excellent job of that.
Cunning said the creation of the site has been a collaborative effort. “All
of the staff has been deeply involved in the development of this site over the
past nine months. Everyone has had a lot of input, and the people will also have
the ability to update their areas,” he said.
The site was a team effort between Tim & Christine Hodge of Frontline Graphics
Web Design and the staff at the CVB. “They really did an impressive job,” Cunning
said. |
