Kid's Interactive Geology Exhibit

Kid's Interactive Geology Exhibit

Tuesday - Saturday: 1 pm - 4 pm

Description:

An interactive geological display targeted at children is on exhibit at the Lake Havasu Museum of History now until after Labor Day Weekend. The exhibit consists of rocks, minerals, gems and games related to geology. A special highlight is the Pet Rock Adoption where kids weigh, measure, name and decorate his/her own pet rock. If that weren't enough, a pet rock can have a Pet Rock Habitat constructed by their owner for a $1.00 donation.

Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble would have enjoyed a game of Rock Bingo or Tic-Tac-Toe with their pet rocks and your children will too!

Exhibit Hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 1 pm - 4 pm.

Special thanks to Freybarger, and Jenny and Dick Anderson for their help in putting this exhibit together.
