The CVB annual budget includes a line item for Special Event Sponsorship marketing support. The primary objective of the CVB Special Events line item is to develop and identify events to generate out of town visitors that promote tourism activities utilizing public accommodations and resulting in increased hotel occupancy, sales and restaurant & bar taxes within the Lake Havasu City area.
