Hitting the lake is one way to splash in the water and have fun, but not the only way. The Aquatic Center in the C.V. Wood Community Center has an indoor waterslide, two heated pools, a wave pool, lap pool and outdoor splash area. There is also a regular schedule for adult aquatic fitness classes and children’s swimming lessons.

Lifeguard-patrolled and temperature-regulated, the Aquatic Center is the perfect change of pace from the lake. Exercise classes vary from water yoga & pilates to water kickboxing & Tai Chi. Check their website for a full schedule of classes and times. Specific hours are set aside for lap swim as well, ensuring those in search of a calm, clean pool to swim laps in, have it.

Keep a look out for special events to including dive-in movies, costume parties and more. These family friendly events are always a blast and great for all ages. Vending machines are on-site providing snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own food with as well. There is a designated eating area which can also be used to host birthday parties or any personal event. Float rings are available for use at no extra charge and swimmers are welcome to bring their own pool equipment and toys.
