If you're a fan of the bow, arrow or crossbow, Lake Havasu City is the place for you! An extensive range, with nearly twenty different targets, awaits you inside our scenic 1100-acre regional Special Activities and Recreation Area (SARA) Park
. Featuring ample parking right next to the range, stunning mountain views and hiking access to Lake Havasu, SARA Park affords you the opportunity to experience outdoor Arizona archery
at its best. The range, located adjacent to pistol and rifle ranges
, is maintained by the Lake Havasu City Sportsmans' Club, Inc.
Incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1971, the Club seeks to promote shooting sports, develop marksmanship skills, and inform the public about firearm safety and maintenance.
Both the archery and pistol and rifle ranges are open-year round and free to the public, but you must bring your own equipment. No bows, crossbows, or arrows are available on the premises for rent or purchase. Archers under the age of 18 must be under the direct supervision of a parent or responsible adult. The Club’s safety rules
are available online and visitors using the facility are urged to review them prior to their arrival. Restrooms are also available on the range.
While the facilities are free to the public, the Lake Havasu City Sportmans' Club, Inc. does offer a yearly membership
. For a cost of $60, the club can work to ensure that the ranges in SARA Park are well-maintained and available for an enjoyable Arizona archery and shooting experience!
