Hitting the lake is one way to splash in the water and have fun, but indoor waterparks and swimming pools offer another experience altogether. The Aquatic Center in the C.V. Wood Community Center offers a blend of amenities that make it stand out among the crowd of indoor waterparks in the Southwest. Most indoor waterparks offer a mix of waterslides and kiddie pools. The Aquatic Center has an indoor waterslide, a wave pool, kiddie pool, and outdoor splash area. Older kids and adults have two heated pools and a lap pool available to them. There is also a regular schedule for adult aquatic fitness classes and children’s swimming lessons. Float rings are available for use at no extra charge.

Lifeguard-patrolled and temperature-regulated, the Aquatic Center is the perfect change of pace from the lake. Exercise classes vary from water yoga and Pilates to water kickboxing and Tai Chi. Check the Aquatic Center's website for a full schedule of classes and times. Specific hours are set aside for lap swimming in the calm, clean waters of the lap pool.

Keep a look out for family-friendly special events, including dive-in movies, costume parties and more. They're always a blast and great for all ages! On-site vending machines provide snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own food and beverages with you as well. The designated eating area is a favorite spot to host birthday parties and other special events.

Come discover why the Aquatic Center is a favorite place for year-round fun, recreation and adventure in Lake Havasu City!
